Our History

- 1936 -

Thomas "Tommy" T. Martin enters the financial services industry as a successful life insurance agent and underwriter.

His legacy and care for his community is still recognized today under the

Martin Chair of Insurance at Middle Tennessee State University

and Tommy Martin Blvd entrance to Murfreesboro's City Hall.

-1968-

Larry L. McFarlin, Tommy Martin's son-in-law, joins the industry and continues serving the community by providing financial solutions.

-1997-

M. Hunter McFarlin, Larry's son, becomes a third-generation financial services representative.

-2003-

Recognizing the need for a more tailored approach to wealth management,

Hunter establishes McFarlin Capital.

-2025-

Elisha McFarlin, Hunter's son, officially joins McFarlin Capital to continue the family business of serving clients and their families.
